1.) I am going to be a prophet and say that Argentina will crash out, first round. For the reason that Cambiasso and Zanetti didn't make the cut.

2.) I am surprised at all the "WHY AREN'T PATO AND RONALDINHO CALLED UP FOR BRASIL??!" What did they do lately than party and for Pato's sake, divorce his wife?? Besides, Pato's injury prone.

3.) Not really surprised Benzema wasn't called up for France. He sucks at Real Madrid (not his fault. It's more of Pellegrini who is clueless with his squad.)

Speaking of Pellegrini, I hate him now because he is killing Kaka's career (and Benzema.) He is clueless too. I know that Real Madrid has all these good statistics under him but its not because of him, its because of his players' individual performances. To put it simply, HE SUCKS AGAINST TEAMS THAT MATTER! Doesn't matter if you win against no-name teams, if you can't win against teams that matter (Champions League anyone? Barcelona?) then goodbye.

If I am Perez I'll bring Jose Mourinho to coach next season.

P.S. I am a Kaka fan first rather than a Real Madrid fan. So my sentiments will always be for Kaka first. A fan girl, why yes of course!

“Leo Messi is Messi. An incredible talent, from another galaxy, but like all the others he didn’t play to his strengths. That should be quality and fair play, but I saw none of it on or off the pitch,” the Inter Coach told RAI.

“At 4am we couldn’t sleep, as there were fireworks outside the hotel door. We called the police at 11pm and they arrived at 3.30am.

“Obviously when you reach the Final, you want to win it. The fact we faced Barcelona four times on the way and also Chelsea, it means a lot. I reiterate that Inter are now a European force, so if they don’t win it this time, they will the next year or the one after.

“I thought my empathy with the Chelsea fans was impossible to find elsewhere, but I have found even more with Inter.

“It was impossible to see where our fans were in this huge stadium, but at the 85th minute I could hear them and knew they were up there. They suffered with us and we had to thank them.”

The problem with teams facing Barcelona is that they are too scared even before going to the pitch. It's this psychological battle that "OH MY GOODNESS, WE ARE FACING BARCA! I AM SO SCARED!" Which, to credit Barcelona, they ARE good. But they can be beaten.

It's all about the mental attitude. They can be beaten but it takes the opponents to BELIEVE that they can.

This is what Inter Milan should do.

With that being said, ANG GALENG TALAGA NG BARCELONA :(((( :'(((((( It must be nice to be a Barca fan, knowing the comfort that they always win. I'm still a super Madrid fan though (even though I hate Pellegrini because he's so clueless in big games and does not know how to use his players.)

1. AHHH INTER MILAN VS CSKA MOSCOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!

I am now watching some highlights of Keisuke Honda of CSKA. He is quite good. 

Whoever wins will be fantastic for me. After Inter beat Chelsea I am sold. But then I also like "unknown" teams to beat the "giants" so I like CSKA Moscow haha!

Here are the highlights from the CSKA - Sevilla game.


2. BARCELONA VS ARSENAL

Please Fabregas, please beat your youthteam. Please please please please please please please!!!!! This is a good match-up. I hope Wenger shows how much of a genius he is. 

3. LYON VS BORDEAUX

I'd go with Lyon just because they beat Real Madrid. I'm crazy like that :p 

4. MANCHESTER UNITED VS. BAYERN 

Don't really care about this but I'm willing to bet United will win.

SPEAKING OF INTERMILAN

How I love this team now. What they showed during the Chelsea match was fantastic. My favorite part is after Eto'o scores, he went straight to the fans in gratitude while you see Inter fans screaming. That was so beautiful! 




Oh and Wesley Sneijder >>>>> Kaka. I guess it's because Kaka's in the wrong position and I blame the coach for this.

Another thing is that I LOVE JOSE MOURINHO! He truly orchestrated the game with his brilliant tactics. 


"Be the best team from the first to the last minute. And that team was my team."




And last, I LOVE MATERAZZI! I DON'T CARE IF ZIDANE HEADBUTTED HIM BECAUSE HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT ZIDANE'S MOTHER!!!!

Champion's League is like the NBA playoffs and Real got eliminated by a team from France with no "superstars" in the first round.


I really feel bad. Which is funny because I only started rooting for this team this season. The hate that people have for Real Madrid makes me sad. Many people hate RM and they are truly the laughing stock now of the football world. Think all the money spent to get in superstars and getting eliminated in the first round. 


RANT ABOUT KAKA

Kaka, for the sake of your reputation, please, from now on, do well.  This is from a very concerned fan. It hurts me so much that you are not getting the love that you had when you were in Milan. Many people are so hard on him because he's not doing what he's supposed to do. I am also disliking his attitude lately. Everytime he gets "fouled" he immediately looks at the ref for the call. And most of the time, the ref does not call it. When you fall down, GET BACK UP!!!! Don't wait for the calls. He is beginning to be a FLOP! I HATE IT. He was once so fearless. I am so sad right now. At the team, at Kaka, at the fans. Some part of me is thinking if Madrid does not want him give him back to Milan!!! At least people love him there. I am really so hurt I am not going to lie. I am so very hurt seeing him not he was before. Right now he just can't get away with defenders. He used to be fast! I am frustrated! SILENCE YOUR CRITICS BY HAVING A GOOD GAME. Urrrgs!

RANT ABOUT "FANS"

I was reading fans reactions and they, of course, are blaming Kaka. No surprise there. Some of them are smart and makes sense,and the funny thing is, those who are sensible are rooting for other teams. I'll stay away from media / messageboards for a while or engross myself with other distractions so I won't be too sad.


I know emotions are running high after a defeat but sometimes some of the fans piss me off. It's like dad bought you a Ferrari and you complain that it does not work but in reality you just don't know how to use the tools. The better term is a spoiled brat which automatically assumes that buying big name stars guarantees for a win. Yes, that is a given since that's why they are bought - to win. But practically, you can't expect them to win instantly. Patience. Patience is the key. The way I see it RM 2009-2010 is long term project which is a good investment.


Some fans are now saying that RM should have bought *insert football star name/s here* but see, that is not the solution. They bought Milan's biggest star and Madrid lost to Milan. They bought Lyon's biggest superstar and thesame thing happened. Does Lyon have "superstars"? No. Lyon broke Real's Champion's League chances by a goal from a 19 year old. Lyon does not have big name stars but they were the better team out there. It's a matter of team, not individuals. As hard for me to admit, this Real Madrid of 2009-2010 is not a team YET. But obviously they will be. As given the time, which I think only 6 months had passed, and they are gelling quite ok. I'd give them time till after the World Cup because I feel that some players (ok, maybe Kaka only) are saving themselves for the World Cup.This gives me hope for next season.  Next season will be the one to watch.


TALKING TOO MUCH AT THE MEDIA = CANCER

But some part of me feels like Kaka, CR9, and Benzema were bought to win the Champion's League, not La Liga. I remember their stupid pictures with the CL trophy. I have a feeling that it's these kind of publicity cost them and all their flowery talk bout winning the CL even before the CL started. Also Sergio Ramos had this very foolish Marca cover wherein he said "REAL: 3; LYON:0" How embarrassing and pathetic is that?!

Next time, please just don't say anything and let your football do the talking so you stop making a fool out of yourself.


BRIGHTSIDE FROM THE GAME

The bright side of it all is defense is solid especially Albiol. Also, I feel so bad for Higuain with that missed opportunity. I guess he was still haunted with that as he was non-existent in the second half. :((( I wonder what happened in the locker rooms. They went to the pitch with no fire and hunger. Or maybe Lyon was just the better team in the second half. We didn't answer whatever they're throwing at us. Games like this are so mental. Its like a test of wills.  


Writing this while I'm at work. I'm still not over it. *Sigh.*


WHO WILL I ROOT FOR NOW?!

1. So some part of me wants to root for Lyon now because they defeated Madrid.

2. I will go for THE GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least I really saw that Arsenal wanted to win the CL with what they displayed yesterday. That's what I was hoping for Madrid will do. But alas, it seems that they (RM) didn't want it that badly. They gave up by the dwindling minutes of the second half even if there was still time.

Go Arsenal!!!

3. Or Inter Milan because I love Mourinho.

4. I would go for Manchester United but the bias Cris fan in me does not want to because if ever Man United will win, the media will pound Cris. (And I don't want him regretting his move to Madrid.)

5. Maybe I'll root for Bayern Munich too.

I WILL NEVER ROOT FOR BARCELONA NEVER!!! I HOPE SOME NO NAME TEAM WILL BEAT THEM!!!
